BEM PALACE OFFICE COMPLEX
The Bem Palace building complex consisted of several parcels that were bought and united over the years by the real estate investment fund affiliated firm of the Unicredit Group. The property is located in Budapest’s prestigeous World Heritage area, just a 100 meters away from the Danube, surrounded by Bem Square, and Bem Jozsef and Feketesas streets. The building complex in the direct neighborhood of the Foreign Ministry is easily accessible by car from both Buda and Pest directions. Public transport access is also excellent: Batthany Square metro station is just a 5-minute-walk, tram and bus stations are just a stone throw away. The higher floors of the block overlooking the Bem square offer beautiful panoramic views over the Danube and the city’s Pest side.

Solun was commissioned in 2008 to acquisite a legally valid building permit to the mixed-function building complex, planned on this piece of real estate and baptised Bem Palace. In order to do this it was necessary to convince the Municipality to modify some relevant parts of the District Regulatory Plan, in strong collaboration with the the Architect’ Cabinet, Investors and the Cultural Heritage Protection Office. Our Team experts have efficiently coordinated and brought to a successfull conclusion this very long and complex process.
As a result of the global economic crisis the Project is currently just the metamorphose of the Sleeping Beauty and waits for its awakening along the revival of the real estate investments.
